επικοινωνίας.

Η εκστρατεία Be one of them, καλεί τους πολίτες της χώρας και όλου του κόσμου σε ένα εγχείρημα–πρόκληση που συνδυάζει μοναδικά την αλληλεγγύη με την τέχνη.

Με οδηγούς την Ελληνίδα μάνατζερ μεγάλων προγραμμάτων εθελοντισμού ανά τον κόσμο, Μπέττυ Σεμακούλα και τον καταξιωμένο Έλληνα καλλιτέχνη, George Pago, το Be one of them, ευελπιστεί να γίνει η φωνή που θα θυμίσει στον κόσμο ότι η αλλαγή έρχεται όταν ο καθένας από εμάς πιστέψει στον εαυτό του, στη μοναδικότητα και τη διαφορετικότητά του.

150.000 πρόσωπα καθημερινών ανθρώπων. 15 μωσαϊκά πορτρέτα προσωπικότητων- σύμβολα. Ένας ο σκοπός: Να πιστέψεις ότι συμμετέχοντας μπορείς να κάνεις τη διαφορά.

Η ιδέα είναι απλή: Το πρόσωπό σου βρίσκει τη θέση του στο μωσαϊκό πορτρέτο ανθρώπων που άλλαξαν ή συνεχίζουν να αλλάζουν την ιστορία, ο καθένας με το δικό του δημιουργικά θετικό τρόπο. Η ατομική χρηματική συμμετοχή είναι συμβολική (7$ ή 5,5 ευρώ) και εκτός των άλλων, στόχο έχει να ενισχύσει, προσφέροντας μέρος του ποσού που θα συγκεντρωθεί, το παιδί και την οικογένεια, μέσα από τη στήριξη της μάχης κατά του παιδικού καρκίνου και το έργο της οργάνωσης «Στήριγμα Ζωής».

Το ταξίδι μας, όμως, δεν τελειώνει εκεί. Τότε αρχίζει!

Όταν ο στόχος επιτευχθεί τα πορτρέτα (πίνακες διαστάσεων 2,50μ. x 2,50μ.) θα ταξιδέψουν σε γκαλερί - χώρους τέχνης πέντε μεγάλων πόλεων του κόσμου (Λονδίνο, Βερολίνο, Βαρκελώνη, Ντουμπάι, Νέα Υόρκη), μεταφέροντας το μήνυμα ότι ο κόσμος μπορεί ακόμα να αλλάξει αρκεί να ενδιαφερθούμε  ή να εμπνεύσουμε τον διπλανό μας όπως το έκαναν αυτοί οι 15 μοναδικοί άνθρωποι.

In a few months time the faces of great personalities in the areas of politics, science, culture and communication, will be artistically recreated in order to carry a piece of you.

Be one of the following: Marilyn Monroe, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Nelson Mandela, Lady Diana, Michael Jordan, Angelina Jolie, Michael Jackson, Steve Jobs, Mahatma Ghandi, Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King, Pablo Picasso, Che Guevara and Muhammad Ali.

The Be one of them campaign invites citizens of the world to a challenging action that combines solidarity with art.

Run by Mrs. Betty Semakoula, Greek manager of large volunteer programs around the world, and inspired by renowned Greek artist ,George Pago, the Be one of them project, aims to become a voice that will remind people that change comes when each one of us believes in oneself, its uniqueness and individuality.

150,000 pictures of everyday people will create 15 mosaic portraits of people that made history. All, under one goal: to believe that participation can make a difference.

The idea is simple: Your face finds its place in the mosaic portrait of a well known-personality who pushed for change, each in their own creative and positive way. The individual financial participation is symbolic ($ 7 or 5,5 euros) and its main goal, among others, is to enhance, by offering a part of the total amount, the kid and the family. This will happen through the support of the battle towards childhood cancer and also through the support of the work of the Greek organization «Child Support», which assists parents that are unable to financially keep-up with their children’s upbringing.

But our journey does not end here! On the contrary, it starts!

When our target  is reached the portraits (2.5m x 2.5m) will travel to five galleries of five great cities of the world (London, Berlin, Barcelona, Dubai, New York), conveying the message that the world can still change provided we show our interest to or inspire our neighbor as these 15 unique people did and continue to do so.
